Question: how do you feel about the death of Stephen Hawkings

Very sad. He was a great scientist and a good person.
There are many things that he has said over the years, many things that he has done, all of which show this. I am finding all sorts of quotes from him, but this one is a good start:
“However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.”

I live and work in Cambridge and so saw Professor Hawking on many occasions. One of the greatest minds we have ever known, a true genius and inspiration. He made os many great statements, perhaps my favorite was:
“look to the stars and not down at your feet”
