Well, I’ll be honest…it certainly won’t save the world, but it might make a little bit of a difference, yes! The more you know about your own body, they better choices you might make now, or in the future, for a healthy lifestyle. I really believe if everyone knew a little bit more of what was going on under their skin they would be a little more mindful about things they do. Plus, you can impress people with some amazing facts about the body too 😉
That’s a tricky one. In one way my project is useful for the world because by understanding sex differences between men and women, we can appreciate each other and hopefully this will bring about more respect for either sex. I think that this is important especially when today when we talk of gender equality and everyone being treated equally 🙂
Not save the world, but may help the world. Understanding how we pace is crucial to being able to get the most out of exercise. Given that 1/3 of the population in the UK and 2/3 in the USA are clinically obese, we need to ensure that we can get the most out our exercise time to help reduce this.
Saving the world can include: Finding a cure for world hunger, curing cancer, finding the ULTIMATE medicine (if it doesn’t exist already) and just things like that, just to let you know 🙂
those are all amazing things and hopefully we will see some of things happen in our lifetime! I like to think that by training doctors and surgeons in the human body I might be able to contribute to amazing things like curing cancer or finding new medicines…even if it is just a teeny tiny bit 😉
