yes I work with fabulous groups of people! Where I teach anatomy there are lots of other lecturers and teachers and they help me to teach anatomy to medical students.
In my lab, I have students working with me who are doing PhDs – this is a 3year long project where they do lots of experiments and write a long book about it at the end! It’s a lot of work but they are doing very well.
I also have other scientist that i work with to make progress on lots of things we are trying to do. That’s one of the best things about science – you get to work with lots of different people and you end up becoming quite good friends with some of them – so then it’s like working with your friends all the time 🙂

Yes I do. BBSRC is about 200-250 people in different groups and teams. Next month we are joining together with similar organisations to form one giant organisation with more than 7000 people!!!

We all have different things to do – I am in a team of six people who work in a similar area and do similar things.

I actually have a big team of scientists that I work with.

I run my own research group and it is a big collaboration between different subjects. Chemistry …Biology…Genetics…Physiology…

Yes. All good science requires collaborations. So i lead a research group which brings together experts from across the world (Brazil, France, USA and UK) we have experts in physiology, coaching, biomechanics , biochemistry and medicine. We also have a lot of research students who play a massive part in the work we do.
