• Question: If you ever quit science what would you do?

      I don’t think I’ll be quitting any time soon….but if I win the lottery I’d probably stay at home and look after my family! If I didn’t win the lottery… I’d maybe go into teaching or something like that. Either that or start up a coffee shop and bake cakes all day 🙂

      It would be difficult for me to leave science entirely – it was very difficult to leave the lab!

      If I were going to do something else I would have to rely upon other things I have wanted to do over the years – for example running a bookshop, or gaming shop or something. I can’t say that I have given it a huge amount of thought.

      well I don’t intend to quit 🙂

      but I had not become a scientist then I would probably have become a Royal Marine 🙂 but I am a bit too old for that now.

      so what would I do …..probably coach sports

      If i were to quit, which is not likely i think i would go into coaching, with athletes with a disability.
