Wow, this is an excellent question and what a wonderful thing to want to do in the future! Does this mean you’d like to become a children’s doctor? Or would you like to work in research to look at things to do with children and their health?
Either way, the best advice would be to look at the types of qualifications you would need to study this at university…a long way away at the moment but it sounds like you have a good idea of what you want to do! So, if you do want to become a doctor, you would need to study medicine and that usually means to need to have excellent science grades as well as good grades in things like english and maths.
Also, when you are a little older you could maybe contact some people who already work in the type of job you would love to do and see if you could maybe visit them in their workplace or chat to them about how they got into the job. Most people are very happy to help others and this kind of extra effort will look really good when you go to apply to university courses. Volunteering with children is another thing you could do when you are older – this would really help in your future career. I know this seems like a long way away at the moment, but they are worth thinking about if you have a clear idea of what you’d like to do!
Best of luck – I hope that you go onto do something wonderful 🙂
