My experiment is about how children pace themselves during sport. I want to understand how their brain uses information that comes in the form of distance and time I used to allow them to make decisions about hard they should be working. We know that time and distance are really important to how e exercise and that children struggle with understanding time and distance. SO the study will pit all of this together and see what happens.
My experiment is trying to find out how much you, you class or even your own school knows about the human body. Do you know where your phalanges are? Does your best friend have a philtrum?Does your teacher know how much blood there is inside their body? Does your headteacher know how many bones they have in their whole body?
We could design experiments to get all this information and find out a lot of really cool stuff along the way! 🙂
My experiment is about understanding differences between men and women. Once we know the differences, we can think about why they exist, are they adaptive? Or are they just an anomaly?
I am trying to understand what you and your school know about regenerative biology and stem cells. These are areas that are quite new and specialised, but there are also interesting discussions that you can have about them. Some people think that these areas of science shouldn’t be investigated, others think they may be the main treatments and cures for a huge range of diseases and illnesses.
What I am interested in is what you know about the area, and what you think about it. You may not have heard about it, which is fine – on the other hand you may have come across them before, and it will be interesting to find out how many of you know about these areas, and what you think. I am looking to you all to help me with the design as well as taking part in the research.
