The truth is I didn’t really know what I wanted to do when I grew up. I really liked music and had thought about becoming a musician but I injured myself and couldn’t play well anymore 🙁 I always enjoyed science though and so it just happened naturally. If you enjoy something you are more likely to do well in it and so I just kept going!

I really thought that I wanted to be a physiotherapist. But I did not get the grades to go to university to study this. Actually I think that I really wanted to work in sport and did not know about sports science at this point.

I wanted to be a bus driver. I think four may be a little young – wouldn’t be able to see where I was going!

I never really knew what I wanted to do, just wanted to keep on learning more about science. So I did. All through school, then university.

I wanted to be a doctor, because I thought I was good at understanding people. But in the end, I became a scientist where I meet people and also get to research on new things 🙂
